From the premise that the table is the beating heart of the domestic space, with the to develop visual language of multiple parts tables, I set out on formal research in archaeological worlds of worship.
Drawing its inspiration from mysterious structures of large stones from the late Neolithic period, The Metalythos table uses common industrial steel sheets in order to bring together a natural and basic ritual formality with contemporary craftsmanship.
The “metal-stones” combining and creating an ancient and futuristic object at the same time, a piece that invites to surround it on all sides without creating distance,and serving as the center of interaction, where the domestic worship ceremonies can take place.
